This pinball machine is in very good condition and has just been serviced and is ready to enjoy. It was manufactured between 1976 and 1980. It is a 1 to 4 player machine. This is a full sized machine measuring approximately 38″ high x 29″ wide x 52″ long and 70″ to the top of the scoreboard.
There are wear marks and minor scrapes at the front upper corners where players rest their hands (see photographs). The machine has just been serviced and is fully functional. This is a great collectible entertainment piece with colorful art, lighting and sounds. It is located in central indiana. I will answer the questions as soon as possible.

1974 gottlieb duotron 2-player pinball machine. If your gameroom is begging for a. Fully working, multi-player pinball machine. That has good action on the playfield and nice cosmetics, you may have just found your answer! This is a nice two-player machine that is “plug and play” and ready to be enjoyed from the moment you get it home. There is good action on the playfield, strong flippers, and it allows two players to compete against each other. And it offers nice overall cosmetics so you can immediately place it in your gameroom without having to do anything to it! There are very colorful graphics everywhere on the backglass, playfield, plastics, and cabinet sides.
Being an em machine that has been sitting idle in my storage for a short while, i’ll stop short of saying that everything is working perfectly at all times, but let’s say that it appeared to be working about 99% correctly while i played a couple games. About the only thing that i noticed was the bonus point stepper unit was sometimes a little slow/weak in awarding/stepping down bonus points, but once you start playing a few more games than i did (and it won’t take many to play more than i did,) this very minor glitch may just take care of itself as it gets loosened up. Otherwise, as a worst case scenario, if you plan on doing a little cleaning to this stepper unit, that should be about all that you are required to do, if even that. The flippers are strong and all bells, targets, scoring, etc. Seems to be working great with fast action on the playfield. No worries with the operating condition of this machine, get it home , plug it in, and play! Once again, “easy” is your answer! Besides that, this machine also offers pretty nice overall cosmetics, making it an even better candidate for any gameroom! The backglass is in great shape! Besides a few very minor nicks/chips in the paint in some of the very small circular graphics, as well as in the player numbers, this glass is nearly perfect.
Even with the minor imperfections, this glass appears to be nearly perfect when you look at it. All of the colors are nice and bright with no sign of any fading. With as many colors and graphics that this glass shows, you will be hardpressed to see any issue with it!
If you like a sci-fi theme, or space related graphics, you can’t do much better than this machine! Although just short of perfect, there shouldn’t be any disappoinment with this glass, it looks nice.
The playfield paint is also in very nice shape. Besides a little bit of wear immediately next to the round pop bumpers (none of which is very visible,) there are some other very minor nicks/chips in the paint here and there, around the kickout hole, near the bonus number inserts, etc.
The three round pop bumper caps are in nice shape with no cracks/breaks, but the lettering on top has started to fade some. Take a sharpie pen and touchup this lettering and they will be back to looking like new. Playfield features include three rollover lanes at the top, three round pop bumpers, six paddle targets, a rollover/kickout lane on each side of the upper portion of the playfield, a kickout hole in the center, a trapped ball in the center that you can hit from side to side to get more points depending on how many times you change its position, a gate that opens on the lower right side that leads the ball back to the plunger lane, two sets of two rollover lanes along the far bottom sides, and various other rubber contact points that award scoring. This is a pretty fun machine to play especially due to its good action and strong flippers. You try to cancel the a, b and c targets while having the center kickout hole increase its value during the course of your ball in play, if you hit the right sequences of targets. Hitting the “bonus booster” adds three bonus number advances. Hitting each of the a-b-c rollovers lights the corresponding targets and bottom rollovers for increased values.
Completing the a-b-c sequence rollovers lights the two red targets for a special. The a-b-c sequence resets after each ball, giving you more chances to win free games! You can also win replays by achieving certain scoring levels and by matching your last two score digits to a random number that lights on the backglass at the end of each game. With the variety of targets on this playfield, it definitely contributes to a fun machine to play while affording you great skill shots in order to try and maximize your score.
The cabinet paint appears to be original. It has a few of the normal minor nicks, chips, and scratches on the sides, but nothing major. The colors are good and the graphics especially of the head in the center looking at you! Are in very nice shape. The coin door and coin entry plate are nice and straight with very minimal surface rust that should buff out. The coin door and original metal backbox door have locks/keys.
The two quarter coin mechs are in place and the machine does play from coin/credit. A previous owner also installed a free-play button on the left side of the cabinet near the coin door that allows free credits to be added to the machine in case you run out of quarters! The original chrome legs have a little bit of surface rust on them. It looks like most, if not all should buff out, though. Negative feedback will be left for those who don’t hold up their end of the deal!
Get it home, plug it in, and play! It doesn’t get any better or any easier than that. If you are drawn to a sci-fi theme, or your gameroom theme revolves around space travel, this is an even better candidate for you. The colors and graphics of this machine will certainly draw attention to itself, but as an added bonus, you can start to play this machine from day one, too. Nice opportunity to get a working machine with overall nice cosmetics.

This is a classic pinball with great game features and cool artwork everywhere. This machine has not been shopped out. I plugged machine in and played a few games from beginning to end with no problems. The only thing i noticed that did not seem to be working was the helicopter. I have not bothered to test every switch or target. This is a nice pinball that would make a great addition to any gameroom.
Don’t miss out on this hard to find game. I will not be held responsible for any problems that may occur once machine leaves my home. If you want to use another shipper that is perfectly fine. I will help in any way i can.

This game is a lot of fun to play, has a lot going on in the game:2 drop target banks, lots of rollovers all over the field, chime unit, a kickout hole, & 3 pop bumpers up top! This game is in above average shape, compared to other games of this vintage its in great shape! The playfield is in nice shape with nice plastics (none are cracked), & minimal wear (the artwork is all original, no touchups). The backglass is in great shape also, had some very minimal flaking & was sealed to keep it that way (this is rare for this game, most bobby orr backglasses are horrible). Everything works perfectly on this game, every bulb, target, switch, flipper, chimes..
Im constantly the cheapest in town, check out my feedback & prices, i sell a lot of nice pinballs to a lot of happy people! Do yourself a favor & see what a real shopped game plays like, you’re welcome to come by & play it (& other games i have). This game was not wiped down in the center & called “shopped”, look under the plastics & posts & you can see the game was cleaned all the way around! Here is what was done to the game. Playfield completely stripped & waxed with 3 coats of shines & plays fast!
All screws & posts tumbled & soaked for 2 days. All new rubbers installed on game. Cabinet wiped down with high grade industrial cleaner (colors are bright again). Backglass sealed with triple thick sealer to prevent any flaking of the artwork in the future. Many games played to insure it all works well!
What i can guarantee you is that the game will leave my place fully working as stated. There are companies like united van lines & that will come get the game, crate it & get it to you in one piece.
