This pinball was ahead of it’s time. Centaur’s vocabulary of 30 words gives the pin the ability to speak with the capacity of approximately 20 phrases. Centaurs speech program was one of the biggest around for pinballs at that time, with other games averaging around 10 phrases.

This centaur has an idling motor bike as background sound. The notable features on this game are as follows. 2 flippers, 2 pop bumpers, 4-bank drop targets, 4-in-line drop targets, 5 multiballs.

A ball hitting recessed red target in the upper right corner of the playfield is held momentarily by a magnet under the playfield. It has speech, with operator-optionable reverberation. The game has the standard ball in play tilt or can be operator-optioned to have two tilt programs. This means if a player activates the tilt mechanism a first time, the word “warning” lights up upon the silk screened backglass & remains lit while the game continues for that player without penalty. However, if this player tilts a second time, the game ends.

In game over mode, pressing either flipper button causes the playfield light to highlight each major scoring feature, one at a time, while the speech card identifies that feature by name. An attract mode operator option causes all five balls to automatically shoot onto the playfield every 15 minutes to interact with the pop bumpers & slingshots till they drain. This pinball uses a “say it again” re verb card in addition to the “squawk and talk” speech card. Enough said abou the machine functions!
My pinball tech of 30 years experience, has worked on it on and off over the years. He has went through this machine and everything is working 100% including the 3 coin mechs. The backglass is in mint condtion!! As seen in the pictures.

All the boards are original to the game. I replaced with new, 8 new drop targets and 2 top bumper caps & skirts.

I install a new bally decal for the coin door. I also replaced all burnt out bulbs & all new bulbs on the top playfield. I took the playfield plastics off and triple waxed it using wildcat#125. Then replaced all the rubbers with new ones. I have primed and painted the legs and installed new leg levelers also.

I spray painted the back with a flat black that looks nice. The front & the coin door are very nice. It has a hidden free credit switch button underneath but the coin mechs are all in working order. It comes with keys for both the head and the coin door.

It has a coin box & it also has a reprint of the manual. There is some wear on the playfield up top where the ball shoots out and in the half circle at the top.

Also there is a line going across the playfield that goes through the bumble bee glasses on the women(as seen in the 4th picture). I don’t think it is a scratch in the playfield and instead believe it is a crease in the malar?

The cabinet (shown in picture#7) on the left side has a small gouge. Actually the cabinet looks pretty good for it’s age-31 years old-you be the judge! It is a blast to play and would fit in fine with any game room or man cave.

This is just a “cool” pinball. Machine, with a neat motorcycle theme. The machine is in our home on ground level & we will give you a hand loading if needed. The dimensions of this game are approx. We do not crate or pallet any machine.

Price varies based on the travel distance. This machine will leave our house in the condition in which it has been described. We will take pictures as we cardboard corners, pad & shrink wrap the machine, extra care on protecting the backglass. Also we will take pictures of it being loaded on the truck.

All these pictures can be emailed to you if you want them.
