This is a 1972 williams “super star” pinball machine. It is a single player machine with add-a-ball bonus. It is setup for coin-less operation and gives the player 5 balls when the game is initiated. It is a electro-mechanical machine, which was standard in its time. Only 3,600 of these machines were produced and sure that much less than that still exist. The machine was rebuilt about fifteen years ago with new rubbers and other parts. The artwork is in very good condition. This includes the backglass, the playfield art, and the plastic bumper covers. Exterior cabinet is good to very good depending on the section of the cabinet. From time to time a bulb, a fuse, or a part could wear out. A contact may become dirty and will need to be cleaned. Owning a electro-mechanical machine will require maintenance, but if you are inclined to learn it is very satisfying hobby. I have posted 12 photos and below is a link to a youtube video i posted of the machine operating as it is. The scoring and the add-a-ball features are working as seen in video. The playfield glass was removed to permit better video of the machine. The sounds will be quieter with the glass back in place. It is not a very popular machine, but it is a classic example of early 1970’s pinball. I will include all printed materials i have which includes a repair tutorial and a blue print for the machine. I will try to help and will cooperate with your mover. For more information on this pinball machine model.
