1971 Gottlieb Play Ball Wedgehead Pinball Machine-WORKS GREAT, Baseball Graphics 1971 Gottlieb Play Ball Wedgehead Pinball Machine-WORKS GREAT, Baseball Graphics 1971 Gottlieb Play Ball Wedgehead Pinball Machine-WORKS GREAT, Baseball Graphics

1971 gottlieb play ball wedgehead. Here is a great machine for the baseball.

It has baseball graphics everywhere. On the backglass, playfield, and plastics.

If you have a sports or. Baseball theme in your gameroom, the baseball graphics on this machine. Similar to most pinballs that keep a score for you, this machine offers that, but it also keeps track, on separate score. Reels, of runs that you score while you’re playing the game. Only can you win replays by getting a high point total score but you can also.

Win them by scoring a lot of runs! This is a great feature that really. Provides you with some strategy and skill shots on the playfield in order to. Make singles, doubles, triples, and even home. Runs depending on what targets you hit.

A unique feature is that the shot into play from between the flippers after you press the right flipper. This takes the place of the more readily seen plunger. Lane along the right side. This is a fun machine to. Play, especially for the baseball nut. Cosmetics and you have a good candidate for your gameroom.

And it is working great! Although this machine is technically. Mechanically unshopped, other than having all of the bad bulbs replaced, it is working great through a five ball game! Being an em machine that.

Has been sitting idle in storage for a while, iâll stop short of saying that. Everything is working perfectly, but letâs say that it seems to be at. Yeah, there may have been an occasional target that didnât register, or a little weak flipper, or a slightly sticky score reel, but none of these. Glitches were continuous they only happened on occasion. Been sitting idle for a while so it needs to be played. More games i played, the better everything was getting, including the action on. You shouldnât have to do anything in order to start. Enjoying this machine but for optimum play, plan on giving this machine a quick. Tune-up, swap out the rubber ring set, and that is all that you may have to. Spend your time playing this machine not working on it!

The nice overall cosmetics that this machine offers, this can go right in your. Gameroom where you can start to play.

The original backglass is in pretty. It has a few very small nicks/chips but nothing ticeable. With as many different colors and graphics that this glass. Offers, the imperfections tend to fade into the background. You can see some thinning of the paint in some of the backlit areas, but again, nothing bad. This is a nice looking backglass. And bright with no sign of any fading. The baseball graphics outstanding shape including the players, stadium, vendors, and the name. Although short of perfect, this glass is very disappointment here. The playfield paint is also in nice. It does have some minor imperfections in the paint, although. Again, none that are bad. There are some very small nicks/chips here.

And there along with the start of some slightly visible woodgrain cracking in. The solid colored background areas.

But that isnât bad, either. There really isn’t any wear on this playfield, only these small.

None are terrible nor do any of them really stand. Out, as the photos show. All of the colors are nice and bright and. The baseball graphics and lettering give it a great look.
All plastics are in great shape. Other than a small missing corner on the rightside plastic over the. Vari-target, all others are in great shape with no cracks/breaks. That they continue the baseball theme with their graphics. Round pop bumper caps are also in great shape with very nice painted.

The bottom metal playfield apron is in excellent shape as is. The plastic in the center with instructions on shooting the ball onto the. There are original instruction and score level cards on the. Both are a little tattered and have some handwriting on them but.

Would certainly allow you to make some replacements that could be perfect. Playfield features include six paddle targets. Across the top that represent different basehits, a single rollover. Lane in each of the far upper corners, three pop bumpers in the upper center.

Portion, a single rollover lane along each of the middle sides, a vari-target. On each of the middle sides next to a single paddle target, four rollover. Buttons that represent each of the four bases on the baseball diamond, a set of. Two rollover lanes along each of the bottom sides, and various other rubber. Contact points that award scoring. As mentioned, the ball is to play by means of a unique feature on this machine.

It is to play up onto the playfield from below and between the flippers. Rather than with the traditional ball plunger rod in an alley on the right. As you hit lit baseball targets, it places a man.
On the appropriate base, also lighting the rollover button at that. If you like a baseball theme, baseball terms and strategy. Are everywhere on this playfield! As i mentioned, you score rmal points but also score runs based on your hits made on the. You can win replays by achieving certain score levels, but.

Also by scoring a lot of runs! In addition, you can also win a. Replay if your last score digit matches a random number that lights on the.

Backglass at the end of each game. The cabinet paint appears to be.

It is definitely starting to show its age with scratches, scuffs, nicks and chips throughout, the worst of which are on the left side of. The backbox paint is in nice shape with only. Minor nicks and scratches on the sides, but it does show some damage to the top.

Layer of veneer on the front faceframe around the backglass. Small pieces of missing veneer at this time so for a perfect look, youâll address this area.

Otherwise, there are no other problems with the. Wood elsewhere on the machine. If you want perfection, because the. Original paint colors and design are in place, you could certainly repaint. This cabinet back to the factory specs and it will look like new.

Meantime, place it against a wall or between two other machines and nobody tice! Sorry, that’s a trick of mine… And entry plate are in fair shape and straight. It looks like some should buff out but iâm. Guessing youâll be left with some that wonât come out.

(dime and quarter) are missing and the machine is currently set on free-play by. Just pressing the credit button, but all wiring and hardware is still in place.

On the backside of the door so you could certainly convert this machine back to. Coin play, if you wanted.

There are locks/keys for both the coin and. The legs have a bronze/copper tinted. Color to them so they arenât chrome.

Actually, the color goes well with. They are in fairly nice shape with some. Nicks, chips, and a little surface rust.

Sanded down and repainted this. Same color, not only would they look like new, but they would really look place of chrome. Provided it is paid for at the end of.

Recommend you contact michelle bianchi, precision transportation agent. Mbianchi at precision-nal dot com. 630-352-3312 (toll free 877-432-2646) for a quote. Options include door to door service including all of the loading, unloading, blanket-wrapping, shrink-wrapping, etc.

Machines, the “per machine” cost is significantly reduced, so make. Companies and can help steer you in the right direction. My preference work with a company that provides door to door service which includes all. Loading, unloading, shrink-wrapping, blanket-wrapping, etc.

The east coast from here and about $375-400 to the west coast. Although not able to crate or palletize the machine myself, i can help to arrange for.

Overall, this is a pretty nice baseball. If you are a collector. This may be a good add to your collection. Offers also make it a great addition to any gameroom. Repaint the cabinet, this machine would be excellent in every way. The way it is, it wonât embarrass you in your home. It would really fit in nicely in a sports-themed. Remember, you wonât have to spend much time, if any, on the.

Get it home, plug it in and play! Doesnât get any easier than that! Not only will you have a machine that. You love to play, but you’ll also enjoy just looking at it.

Chicago Coin Home Run Baseball 1972 EM Arcade/Pinball Game Works Great!  1972 chicago coin electro-mechanical baseball game - works great! Gameplay: game works great - no problems - pitch the ball using one of the 3 buttons that determine the pitch - fastball.

Slider and then the big button swings the bat. All the targets work including the bleachers seen in the pictures (which i re-painted and look brand new). Cheers - one for a single, double triple, and one more.

For a home run - it is one of the first games with a sound-board. The runners circle around the bases on the back-glass based on what takes place on the field.

Back-glass: is original and has some flaking and spider-webs but is not terrible and typical for a 40 year old machine. I re-sealed it with glaze a while back it so it will not get worse from here on out. Cabinet: has some bumps and scrapes due to age but the graphics are still very much intact. I love it that it that it still has the 10 cent coin slot!
Playfield: worn in the middle and perfect on the side - sure it could be touched up but i did not care - some of the more popular targets to hit are worn but you can read them all. Include: parts list and schematic. Keys to backglass and front door - all locks are new. I can also send additional photos.

1949 williams star series pitch and bat. This is a restoration project that when completed will make an unusual conversation piece for your game room and will also be very fun to play.

This is an extremely rare pitch and bat game and these hardly ever come up for sale. The following information is borrowed from arcade-museum. Chicago, il (1944-1958), the star series maker, released 182 machines in our database under this trade name, starting in 1944. Other machines made by williams mfg. Chicago, il (1944-1958) during the time period star series was produced include de-icer, freshie, twin shuffle, all american quarterback, maryland, gizmo, stormy, dew-wa-ditty, el paso, and virginia.

This games is also featured in the book arcade treasures, kurtz (isbn 088740619x); page: 36; color photo; price guide: 1994. This game was the 1st generation pitch and bat made by williams that featured the mechanical vertical running man unit in the backbox. After the player manually plunged a ball up the center of the playfield chute to the batter and then turned the knob to bat the ball he then tried to hit it in one of the marked holes. If he scored a single, for instance, the running man in the backbox would advance to 1st base. There was also a light by each base on the playfield to indicate the men on bases.

Also, since score reels weren’t invented yet, the scores were illuminated in lights for runs. It featured a 5c, 10c, and 25c slug proof single entry coin slot. The credit unit would record advance credits. The playfield is in good condition for it’s age and features retro artwork from that era. The backglass is a decent example that can be used - there is some paint loss that can be viewed in the pics i have taken.

The cabinet paint is just average the game is 62 years old! But the good part is it has the original graphics that can be used to repaint the cabinet to like-new condition. As far as playability, the game is untested and will have to be gone through.

There are no balls in the game. There are a few conductors that aren’t connected to anything and a few with transfer clips that will have to be checked out. I do have the wiring schematic that’s included with the game. The game originally had the instructions silkscreened into the lower part of the playfield glass above the bat. This playfield glass has been replaced on this game and some type-written instructions are on it.

They have made a nice repro playfield glass for their game with the instructions silkscreened onto the glass. There is also 2-12 rectangular white plastic shields that go on either side of the bat at the bottom - they are warped from age and new ones will have to be fashioned out of white lexan or a similar material.
I have tried to desribe the game to the best of my knowledge and would be more than happy to let anyone come and inspect the game in person. I can also take more pics if needed.

Contact precision-nal (search on internet) and ask for michelle. She specializes in moving arcade games.

Sorry, i cannot crate the game.

Hi you are looking at a great vintage pinball machine made by esco in 1946 it is a 5 cent flipper less machine in great working condition newer rubber kit and all lights work also the 5 cent coin mech works great. This game appears to be all original with the exception of the front lock which is new with keys and maybe the play field glass. The play field looks pretty good the paint is cracking in spots but it is all there the back glass is peeling at the bottom but top looks pretty good everything works the way it should. This would be a great game to restore or play as it is.

NO RESERVE AUCTION * 1947 Bally BASEBALL HEAVY HITTER Penny Arcade Coin Op Game  We are offering this baseball heavy hitter. Bally heavy hitter: nice easy restoration project. Backglass has some flaking but isn’t too bad. Playfield looks good with minimal wear.

Someone rigged the frontdoor with a steal plate and a free play button, and bypassed the coin mech with a wire (both can easily be returned back to original). Cabinet is solid and paint is ok. Backdoor is there as well as the playfield glass. Bally heavy hitter 5/47 (introduction date), made until summer of 1949 (this game was very popular), one player.

Small pitch and bat, 32.5″ long by 15″ wide by 55 tall with the floor stand. Backglass running man unit uses five 5/8 steel balls.

And one 5/8 ball for the playfield. Top glass size is 26″ x 14″ x 3/16. Heavy hitter was either a countertop game, or a floor game (using its metal stand, though for the first month of production, heavy hitter had a wood floor stand). Despite its small size (15″ x 27″ footprint), the 1947-1949 bally heavy hitter is a great game though at first i must admit i underestimated the game, due largely to its small size. It’s fun because of its very fast play.

The pitched ball is done automatically and quickly by the game, not by a player pressing a button to pitch (unlike the later 1950s williams pitch and bats). The bat is powerful, and can really kick the ball up the playfield (it is common for the ball to bounce and hit the top glass). There are two reostats inside the game to adjust the pitching power and bat power. Heavy hitter also has a vertical running man unit in the backbox. One of five 5/8 steel ball moves from base to base as a hit is generated.
When a ball moves from third base to home, the ball closes a switch, which generates a run on the lighted score backglass. The single 5/8 ball on the playfield goes into the hole scoring playfield registering the hit or an out.

The game does not allow for multiple inning; three outs and the game is over. This used a mechanism to pitch the ball out from underneath the playfield, using a.

008 thick spring steel flap to hide the playfield ball slot when the ball was on top of the playfield. This game is similar to gottlieb’s 1951 bush league and united’s 1948 tenth inning.

I invite you to review my feedback to see what my previous customers have said about my service and items. I enjoy all the elements of the process: the photography, the composing and writing of the web page, the research and most of all the people.

Here are a few letters from former clients for your review. We have started posting videos of a number of items. Go to our youtube space and check them out. Antiquecoinop’s youtube page for videos.
