I bought this game with the intention of restoring it to original condition. I don’t have the time to invest in the game. My loss is your gain! The game is in fair shape. The upper playfield is in fair shape.
The lower playfield is in very nice shape. The spinning disk does not spin. A few plastics are broken. The backglass isn’t flaking and doesn’t have any major imperfections. The case is in nice shape.
The four main displays work, as does the playfield display. The credit display is not working. The game has a new, reproduction cpu board and power supply board. At some point someone replaced some of the capacitors. They started doing some of the gottlieb system 80 mods, but i’m not sure if they completed them. I haven’t done much with this game other than play it. It does play, but will require some work to make it 100% perfect. There’s a link below to many high resolution pictures of the game and parts. Spare upper / lower playfield, each in fair condition. Original power supply (was working when it was removed).
You must pick it up at my house in cincinnati, oh (45231). I will not split up the parts. No checks or anything else. I have a dolly and can assist in loading the machine.
As always, please write me if you have any questions.

Up for sale is a bally “black pyramid” pinball machine. Have not had a single problem with it since i got it, and i played it a. Lot when it first arrived.
Motorized target and all drop targets work. I replaced the pop bumper caps with new ones recently as well. All lights work, as do all the displays. I would rate the cabinet. And backbox a 7 out of 10, there is some fading on the left side of the.
The backglass i would give a 9.5 of 10, it’s. There is a credit button on the front of the cabinet for. Next day for easy access.

If you have been looking for a cosmetically perfect black hole, here it is. The upper and lower playfields are perfect and clear coated. Not a mark on them.
No ball swirls, no lines. The backglass is wonderful and the black hole motor works! The cabinet is in beautiful shape as is the aprons, plastics, and hardware.
The displays work fine, the squawk and talk works, too. It keeps blowing the solinoid fuse. It was working great, and then started blowing fuses. All of my machines are electro-mechanicals (14). Consider the game non-working, so my loss is your gain. All other systems work as they should, and yes, this machine has clay’s grounding modifications. The pictures here are the actual machine and anyone who knows the hobby, knows that this is the real deal. So, don’t ask me for hyper close-up pictures.. The game is intact and i will not break it down. If you want it, come get it!
It is on the ground floor and easy access for tractor trailers. They are probably the best examples on the the east coast. This machine is so nice, i added it to my em collection.
I didn’t survive the black hole!

This is an original 1980 black knight pinball machine in good working cond. This machine sat for about a little over a year without being played & i wiped it down & plugged it in & it worked great.

I was told it needs some type of circuit breaker. It was working up until a few weeks ago. As you could see it has its vintage condition still untouched. As with older guitars and antiques, when they are kept in original condition they hold there value and are desired by serious collectors in vintage condition. If anyone would like to add their knowledge i could pass it on.
All the lights are flashing and the black knight voice is working. It’s the flippers or buttons that are not working now. It was serviced about 6 weeks ago and it worked for a few weeks. Supposedly it was a micro switch. After a few weeks it stopped working again.
I think the guy who repaired it is taking us for a ride. I’m sorry but in the original listing i forgot to say that i don’t have the key for the door.
The door lock is in the open position.

Creature from the black lagoon. 4 player machine that is working and is in very nice shape. Playfield is in good shape but does have some wear in areas. Cabinet has a few bumps and bruises as this machine has not been restored. I have rebuilt the flipper assembles with new parts.
The hologram on this machine is green but darker that it was when new. Game includes the manual, and all keys. The machine can be set up to take quarters or free play with no coins needed. This machine has lots of features including : multiball, video mode, 2 vertical up kickers, great 50’s soundtrack, green chasing lights on 2 of the ramps, 4 stand up targets and the infamous hologram. Machine is in very good condition, but please understand it has been used and is not restored - i do not represent it to be like brand new in the factory box condition! I have owned this machine for many years. During my ownership the machine was in a game room and hardly used. That will have to be resolved with the shipper.
(lower 48) for between $200.00 - $450.00 depending on zip code and service level.

992 bally creature from the black lagoon. This 4 player machine is working 100% and is in very nice shape.
It has been stripped of all parts, cleaned and waxed. Playfield plastics are all new.
All rubber rings and light bulbs have been replaced. Cabinet had a few bumps and bruises that have been repaired and touched up.
The green on the cabinet is the same on both sides it looks different in the pictures because my flash was off. I also replaced the side rails and coin door. Dot matrix display is working fine with no missing lines.
The machine can be set up to take quarters or free play with no coins needed. This machine has lots of features including : multiball, video mode, 2 vertical up kickers, great 50’s soundtrack, green chasing lights on 2 of the ramps, 4 stand up targets (with new stickers) and a hologram. I prefer north american van lines at 800-959-8880 for a quote (usually between $350 and $400 depending on location). I can wrap game in heavy layer of stretch wrap and cardboard for $50. That will have to be resolved with the shipper.
I can also bring this machine to the ohio pinball show on march 26th & 27th.

Black knight belongs to that small group of pinball machines that can be labeled as “classic”. Introduced by williams in december of 1980, over 13,000 games were produced in a 7 month production run. The game was designed by steve ritchie, programming by larry demar and art by constantino mitchell.
Black knight was the first game to use williams system 7 mpu board, however its most famous attribute is being the first multi-level playfield game. I have played this machine for years.
It is working and plays great! The playfield is in good condition.
