This is the more rare pinball out of the eight ball series of pinballs with only 1500 machines ever made. This particular machine is a 1 owner, home use only pinball machine. Extremely rare to find a home use only pinball from 1985.

Don’t miss out on this gem. Machine was just gone through and is working 100%. Machine has a nos mpu just installed for years of trouble free playing. Playfield looks fantastic with factory mylar on 90% of playfield. Very hard to find this machine with a superb playfield like this one as all the eight ball machines were played til they were worn down to bare wood. Their is a small spot on the lower playfield where it looks like someone dropped something on the playfield and it went through the mylar. Someone put a mylar circle repair ‘patch’ in this place(see pictures). Playfield was just cleaned, all new rubber bumpers added, all bulbs replaced, and new pinball added. These mint original backglasses are hard to find. Lower cabinet is very close to mint and backbox cabinet has a few small scratches. I don’t know what else to say about this great pinball machine. This is a great machine to add to any gameroom and an all time classic. If you have been looking for one of these machines then don’t pass this one by. You can’t go wrong with this great coin op item. I have bowlers, jukeboxes, video arcades, and other pinballs as well. Be sure to watch for some other upcoming pinballs i have including getaway, count down, hot tip, dragon, lizard, pinball, pinball pool, flight 2000, jungle lord and some other great classics. Powers up but not working. Looks to be in very good condition. Great graphics and comes with instruction manual, misc extra parts, schematics, advertising card and all misc paper shown. These old pinball machines are hard to find especially in this nice condition. Has some minor wear on the sides. One of the wood corners where the leg goes on is damaged and the other whole is stripped.

Still stands on the 3 legs. The ball is not returning back to its starting play position, so i have no way of testing it. Dont miss out on a chance to own this great surf champ pinball machine. Very rare gottlieb 1955 slugginâ champ deluxe pinball machine. Rarely seen special deluxe version, less than 100 units produced! Original playfield in good shape! It has been shopped out and comes with several new parts. I completely stripped of all components, thoroughly cleaned, then waxed it with several coats of johnsons paste wax.

Original rare deluxe backglass is in really nice shape. Less than 100 of these glasses were made for this special deluxe version for this machine only! It has only a few knicks here and there, but nothing serious. I cleaned and polished the front of the glass to give is a nice smooth shine. Original rare deluxe gottlieb slugginâ champ cabinet.

It is in very fine and solid shape. Again, less than 100 of these cabinets were made for this specilal deluxe version of this machine. It looks really good considering its age, and from 56 years of use, but that is what gives it its character.

All stepper units in the head have been cleaned. Both shooter rod and push up rod shafts have been machine buffed to a shine. New barrel springs for both rods.

I will securely insulate and wrap this machine before it goes on the truck for absolutely no charge. The shipper will also blanket wrap it once it is on board the truck. Their cost will range anywhere from $350-$475 which includes. Just unwrap the game and plug & play.

Champ pinball machine, needs new rubbers and some bulbs as. Well as some overall tlc and cleaning as it has been in storage, all components are intact and mostly working. Will also load for you. Video of another surf champ game play fully restored. Gottlieb & company (1931-1977) [trade name: gottlieb]. Theme: sports - water sports - happiness - recreation - surfing - swimming. Notable features: flippers (2), pop bumpers (2), slingshots (2), star rollovers (5), 5-bank drop targets (1), kick-out hole (1), spinning target (1). Maximum displayed point score is 99,990 points per player.

Very nice pinball game - only about 1,000 produced. New rubbers, drop targets, pop bumpers, flippers, leg levelers, roll-over lane guides. Cabinet has some scratches and playfield has a little touch up by the bonus inserts (see pix).

The game is in complete working condition and theâ. Playfield shows nominal wear for a 34-year-old machine. The cabinet has a fewâ.

Minor chips to it but overall it’s in very nice shape and clean inside andâ. Includes extra playfield cards, coin mechs, and locks+keys. This is a true collector’s pieceâ. That will appreciate in value, and great for either business or home recreation â use!

Put away those video games and play pinball! Overall, the machine is in 100% working order and is in great condition. It is exceptionally clean and is ready to play. Imagine how the soft glow of this machine with it’s totally fun-packed playing and theme would enhance your gaming area! Nothing beats playing a game that has a “real” feel like pinball. This is a four-player machine which is an absolute blast to play and has a family-oriented theme. Playing highlights and other information concerning this machine, please visit. Included with this machine are the original schematics, installation/game operation instructions, a new pinball and keys. This machine has been thoroughly cleaned, playfield polished, all plastics shined/cleaned using novus, rubbers replaced, all necessary contacts adjusted, all new lights installed, score reels adjusted, minor cabinet touch-up and has new, shiny legs! A small, red button for “free play” was installed by a prior owner to the left of the coin door (see photo). This machine has been proudly in my collection for about 4 years and has been cared for.

There is minor backglass flaking in the “game over” area (see photo), but this is the only area affected. I’ve installed a “flashing” bulb to reduce unnecessary heat build-up in this area. The top and bottom corners of the right bumper playfield plastic are broken (see photo). The cabinet does contain some minor gouges, scratches and scuffing but is in overall very good condition.

The “spinner” in the middle of the playfield is not the original spinner (see photo).

Overall the machine is in 100% working order. This is one of the nicest surf champs ive come across. The machine was totaly torn down and built back up, heres what we did. All playfield parts were taken off, and cleaned.
5 coats of novas wax were applied (thanks brian). Every playfield plastic was washed, and sprayed with novas 3#, for shine, and protection. Both bumper coils were replaced. All new rubbers wer installed. All new playfield lights were installed. Cabinet was cleaned, and wiped down. All playfield contacts were adjusted, as needed. New plunger spring was installed. Scoring reels were cleaned, and adjusted (thanks brian). Drop targets were lubed, and cleaned. The game plays fast, and the playfield shines. The backglass has no flaking, and is in great condition.
