Pinball Machines

I aquired it this spring and did an extensive restoration to it. Here are pictures of the restoration procedure. The playfield was removed from the cabinet and was completely stripped. The playfield was machine buffed and has ten coats of hand applied synthetic wax. It is so shiny it almost appears to be clear coated.

Every component was disassembled, cleaned, and rebuilt using all new parts. All of the metal parts on top of the playfield were machine buffed and shine like chrome. There are $500 dollars worth of new parts installed including all new target switches, many new plastics, completely rebuilt pop bumpers, flipper rebuilds, cliffy protectors, all new white rubber, all new bulbs, and on and on.

The death star spins as it should. R2d2 also spins and moves up and down properly. There are also color changing led’s at the light sabre contact point. This machine needs nothing but a good home. There were some scratches on the cabinet but they have all been touched up as best as possible. Reproduction cabinet artwork is not available for this machine so that was not an option. They go door to door with a lift gate. Just give them your zip and mine, 01921, and they will give you an exact price. I don’t want to be responsible for mis quotes. I will be glad to answer any and all other questions. It is my favorite star wars collectible. I bought it in 2003. It was signed by mark hamill and james earl jones.

It comes with a certificate of authenticity. I’d like to see it stay with the machine.

The pinball is currently set on free plaly but can easily be programed back to taking coins. The machine comes with the manual & also additional new decal stickers for the star trek drop down targets(as shown in the pictures). The ones that are on it now are in very good condition so did not want to replace them at this time. It has one key to the coin door and 2 keys for the head.

This neat pinball has a mechanical back box animation “transporter effect” backglass. The glass animation uses moving double layered semi-transparent pictures, mirror in the back of the playfield. This pinball features a 3 ball automatic plunger, swinging targets, 4 bank drop targets & 2 kick out saucers. It is pinball friendly, fast play & very exciting with the backglass animation just being fascinating to watch. The machine is beautiful and has very little wear on it, due to the amount of playing time from home use (as shown in the pictures).

The displays are bright and clear. The sides of the machine and the head are in very nice condition also.

The sound system is awesome! And you will not be disappointed in this tv series/movies theme pinball machine! The character voices really highlight the authentic sounding characters!

This pinball machine would fit in fine with any game room or man cave. If you want one of the nicest star trek pinball machines around then you found it with a reserve that is very low for this quality of pinball. You will be very pleased with it. The machine is in our home on ground level & we will give you a hand loading if needed. The dimensions of this game are approx. 28″ wide, 52″ long & 76 tall. Price varies based on the travel distance.

This machine will leave our house in the condition in which it has been described. We will take pictures as we cardboard corners, pad & shrink wrap the machine, extra care on protecting the backglass. Also we will take pictures of it being loaded on the truck. Brand new low power 4×7 led display installed! 1000 times better and longer lasting than original ones. Outstanding condition 1988 data east time machine pinball w/ many brand new parts! Fresh and ready for years of use! Look very closely at the pictures as this machine is really that nice and they are not easy too find anymore. This one even has the upgraded low power pin led display ($150). Game plays perfect and comes with a full manual, setup guide (for first time pinball owners), new levelers, new leg bolts, new beautiful mirror glaze pinballs (3), fresh shop job (top and bottom), new expensive 4×7 pin led display, custom instruction cards and much more!

Allot of toys this one has! If your local, come on by and take a look at it if you like. About the only 2 things i can ding on this machine is the small crack in the left speaker part of the speaker panel and the cracked plastic about the middle targets, both small issues and easy to fix if you’d like. All the pins we sell go through the same process pretty much and here’s a general breakdown on what we do…. Playfield teardown - parts on top of the playfield including bulbs, assemblies, wireform ramps, plastic ramps, pop bumper caps, apron, etc are all removed from the game to expose playfield surface. Inside cabinet cleaned - playfield removed from cabinet, inside vaccumed and wiped down, inside sides repainted if needed, rails scrubbed, coin door removed and rebuilt, cabinet switches checked and or replaced. Air flow grates cleaned and inspected.

Ramps, wireforms cleaned - hand cleaned as well, wires are wiped down and switches checked, non abrasive cleaner and hand dried. Bulbs and flashers - install new bulbs and flashers on the top side of the playfield and backbox, underneath one’s are typically just bad one’s replaced unless otherwise noted.

Final assembly & test - full function test again and played! Best part of the restoration process! Game is left on for 2 - 3 days to verify new bulbs are good hey, even new bulbs can burn out, it does not happen often but it can happen and we check for that!

The flippers were checked out and adjusted so they fire like cannons and perfectly symetrical every time. The slingshots and pop bumpers have been set “super sensitive” - i love them set this way, if the ball just glances them they fire it off in a diffrent direction, makes gameplay soooo much better than having to have the ball hit hard and right on. Sorry i attached so many pictures over 30+ pictures!

But they show it all and i want you to see for yourself what an outstanding machine this really is. Anybody can say anything about a pinball machine but sooo few ever have pictures to back it up.

There are reasons why some folks take thier pictures in the dark and it’s not because they can’t find a clamp on light. We have a ultra high resolution camera. You can get in depth details of this pinball and just about any other at (which stands for internet pinball database). The following were comments made about the game….. Got one of these recently.

I enjoy the theme quite a bit. The chime box is an especially prominent feature and really gives the game a “retro” feel. It pays tribute to em machines. It reminds me that i have to fix the one in my garage, ha ha.

The coils are very powerful and fling the ball up the ramps with ease. When it hits 1950, it acts like an android on steroids. Multiball never seems to last too long, but the jackpot is worth keeping it alive.

Quite fast for a de (compared to the rocky and bullwinkle, batman, judge dredd, and tmnt machines i’ve played). Very cool audio(really, very cool), overall play can get a bit mundane after a few games(needs better skill shots). Time machine is a game that stands on it’s own very well. This is the most creative table that de producced in a number of different ways.

Ed cebula’s best game since andromeda and until jurassic park. Love the background voices that tweak the game. Also, with music changing from decade to decade. This feature is unique from any other game i’ve played. From an art standpoint, i’m into lights, and the way they add to a pinball machine.

The audio is great with the first stereo sound available on a pin. All of the clips are great examples once again of the respective eras represented in the game. It ties together very well. The soundtrack takes you from electronica 80’s to disco 70’s to pop 60’s, finally to doo whop 50’s. The crowning audio experience this machine offers is when you successfully go back in time to the 50’s the machine turns into an electro mechanical with chime bells going nuts. The playfield offers approx 7 different skill shots with lots of variation between those. The play of the machine is fast, but offers the chance to use lots of skill to advance through different goals. It will be in my collection for a long time, as i have seen my family grow fonder and fonder of it the more they play. It doesn’t offer the depth of my tz, but it is very fun, and a challenge to go “back in time”. This machine will help you remember why you spent so much time playing pinball as a kid, and it offers the theme and soundtrack to transport you back to that time.

Going thru the different decades are made challenging by the somewhat hard ramp shots. Definitly a keeper for me!! The first game i have owned. I like the overall concept of the game and the challenging ramps. Neither impossible nor easy, i think they are just the right challenge for the reward.

The laser kick return is also great feature. The art work is good but stuck in the eighties. Not as timeless as star wars or monster bash.

General check-up of all boards and circuits. All new bulbs topside and backglass and underneath (all of them). Brand new custom pincards installed in apron. New batteries in cpu board.

All new playfield rubbers installed. All new playfield star posts installed. Forward air/pilot air offers both driveway / liftgate if need be. We do an awesome job prepping machines like this so you will not be disappointed. They are huge ltl carriers and have terminals at or near 99% of major cities and airports. If you have a shipper you would like to use other than forward air or pilot air for a flat rate of $90 we will prep and drop off at your carrier of choice (located within 15 miles of 48183 zip code). Everything gets wrapped in plastic, cardborded, wrapped again then secured with heavy duty ratchet straps and taped. Legs are individially cardboarded as are the balls, bolts and anything else that comes along with it.

After drop off we will contact you with the tracking info for your game, typically it will take 1 to 4 days to get there and they will call you upon arrival. If you have another game your having trouble with and you have bought one off us we will be happy to help with that also.
