There are 2 hands on the playfield… Your hand and the dealer hand. Each hand can be 17,18,19,20, or 21 don’t you wish that were the case when you went to vegas?

Anyway, certain targets advance your hand by one, and certain targets advance the dealer’s hand by one. Then, the saucer on the right compares the hands. If your hand beats the dealer’s, you get 3000 points. If the dealer beats you, it only scores a few hundred.

That’s what i like about this one. It is currently set to free play but it can be changed to accept coins and the coin mechanics work. An owners manual is included. It has updated electronics with a new mother board.

It is bright and neonish and would be a great addition to any rec room. There is no peeling or flaking on the backglass.

The cabinet is a nice red, white, and blue.

I bought this game with the intention of restoring it to original condition. I don’t have the time to invest in the game. My loss is your gain! The game is in fair shape. The upper playfield is in fair shape.

The lower playfield is in very nice shape. The spinning disk does not spin. A few plastics are broken. The backglass isn’t flaking and doesn’t have any major imperfections. The case is in nice shape.

The four main displays work, as does the playfield display. The credit display is not working. The game has a new, reproduction cpu board and power supply board. At some point someone replaced some of the capacitors. They started doing some of the gottlieb system 80 mods, but i’m not sure if they completed them. I haven’t done much with this game other than play it. It does play, but will require some work to make it 100% perfect. There’s a link below to many high resolution pictures of the game and parts. Spare upper / lower playfield, each in fair condition. Original power supply (was working when it was removed).
You must pick it up at my house in cincinnati, oh (45231). I will not split up the parts. No checks or anything else. I have a dolly and can assist in loading the machine.

This machine is like new except for the playfield that has some marks on it, but i have a nos wired playfield that goes with it , the machine plays great. I will deliver the machine within 50mi of my house for an extra $75.

The comet has been serviced as of 8/10/09 and is working / playing very well (strong, fast, and furious). The boards are all clean with no hacks or idiot infested damage with bright clear sharp displays. This is a roller coaster game and family friendly. The machine looks very good! The playfield is in excellent - condition (8.8 of 10) as the black million point ball drop area has been touched up but extremely well done and all plastics appeared to be good condition.

The backglass is in near mint condition (9.9 of 10). Cabinet and head is in excellent condition (9 of 10) with no hero marks, fading, or damage etc….
