The ball release spring works great. I played the machine just before i took the photos.

Machine has new rubbers and a new ball. Playfield looks some point it looks like someone did touch it up.

It has been fully shopped and works and plays exactly how it should. This machine is also the first with flashing lamps in a pinball machine, and the first with background sound. The playfield has been completely stripped, cleaned and waxed, with new rubber rings installed, a new pinball installed, all light bulbs replaced with new, and two locks installed. Also all three flippers have been rebuilt, the cabinet was vacuumed on the inside and cleaned and waxed on the outside, and the legs and side rails have been cleaned. With new leg levelers installed, and 4 brand new head bolts.

The circuit boards have had some work done to them also, the interconnect between the cpu and solenoid driver has been replaced with new (both female and male ends) and the reset section of the cpu has been rebuilt. This machine is in very nice original condition for its age and has very minimal playfield wear. The cabinet is as solid as it was when it was brand new, and is in excellent shape, the plastics are also in excellent shape, and the backglass is in very nice shape as well, although it is not perfect. This machine also includes all original paperwork that came with the machine when new, right down to the envelope they put everything in. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Nov 26, 2010. 1987 flash gordon pinball machine, working condition legs are not on in picture to make moving it easier. There are some minor cosmetic.

   

   

This flash machine is in very good condition. The cabinet has had some minor touch ups but in great condition overall. The backglass is a newer aftermarket piece but the original(pictures 8 and 9) is also included in the sale. See pictures to see images of the original glass. All aspects of the machine work 100%. Has had new rubbers installed and playfield is kept clean and waxed regularly.

Manuels are also included as well as some target stickers and extra plastics. Also included is an extra mpu board and sound board. I dont know if they work but are included.

This 1981 bally flash gordon pinball machine is in very good condition! Machine has been recently shopped (by ray of “wide area repair”), cleaned & waxed and plays great! New squawk and talk board installed. Displays are strong, backglass and playfield are both very good and cabinet is solid. This game was ballys first multi level games with speech and has 2 levels, three flippers and 2 separate bonus features. We do not crate/pallet any machines. This machine will be originating from a pa zip code 19145. Clean nos (new old stock) drop targets just installed!

The playfield has been touched up in a few area’s, then clearcoated with automotive clearcoat. The backglass is very nice, just 1 very small scratch right of the player 2 display window. The lower cabinet has a few dings, the backbox has a small area of damage in the lower left front (see pic), i forgot to take pics of the backbox sides, they look like the lower cabinet, i can send pics if needed. The red paint has turned to pink like almost all fg machines. The circuit boards are in good shape, i can send pics of these too if needed. The squawk & talk has new caps installed. The playfield has new rubber, new targets & new pop skirts.

The plastics are in good shape. The flippers work well, but would be a little stronger if rebuilt. Here’s a link to a youtube video of this machine.
