A real classic game that will keep you playing for hours. This is a fun game that is working. The backglass is beautiful as you can judge from the picture. It is bright and extremely colorful. The playfield is also in very nice condition.
There is a small wear through spot in the playfield. Cosmetically, the cabinet is above average with only the normal dings and dents of this vintage game.
The paint is in good shape, the machine is very attractive as i hope you can tell from the description so far. Structurally there are no problems with the cabinet. The game is a fun challenge.
All four center flip flop targets must be knocked down by either hitting its target or rolling over the playfield rollover buttons. Then, when all four are down you have to hit one of two playfield bumper switches to collect the bonus. As the bonus level build to 11,000 points, the saucers light up alternately for a free ball. If you are able to raise the bonus level even higher, the special rollover buttons will also light. Sounds simple but the lower playfield design is tricky - if you’re not careful and try to trap a fast ball on the flipper it will roll up the lane guide and drain out the lane.

Flip a card by gottlieb, is a single player, coin operated, electro-mechanical machine. The wedgehead (shape of the head) type machines are the most sought after games in the 60′ and 70’s. This game was manufactured in 1970, and receives one of the highest ratings from the bible of pinballs, the pinball database.
All rubber rings and lamps have been replaced with new. The backglass is in beautiful condition, with bright colors, and no fading. The playfield and cabinet have some paint issues from years of fun, but don’t effect play in any way, and still look very nice. There were 1800 of these machines made, and probably 500 left, with maybe 100 still working, so don’t miss out on a chance to own a piece of amusement game history!
