This pinball machine is clean, like new, no major flaws in cabinent, has some wear marks on the outside of the cabinent easily touched up. Glass in play area is clean, not scratched, the glass on top showing flash gordon is spotless, look at the pictures.

You can plug this machine in and start to play flash gordon. This pinball machine has been stored in a dinning room for over 20 years. All bumpers, gates and lights work.

The ball release spring works great. I played the machine just before i took the photos.

Does not work at present, will power up but will not play. Back glass is in almost perfect condition as well as the horizontal glass, and casing. Play field needs some bumper work but otherwise in very good shape. I have additional pictures and will send them if needed.

Nov 26, 2010. 1987 flash gordon pinball machine, working condition legs are not on in picture to make moving it easier. There are some minor cosmetic.

This 1981 bally flash gordon pinball machine is in very good condition! Machine has been recently shopped (by ray of “wide area repair”), cleaned & waxed and plays great! New squawk and talk board installed. Displays are strong, backglass and playfield are both very good and cabinet is solid. This game was ballys first multi level games with speech and has 2 levels, three flippers and 2 separate bonus features. We do not crate/pallet any machines. This machine will be originating from a pa zip code 19145. Clean nos (new old stock) drop targets just installed!

The playfield has been touched up in a few area’s, then clearcoated with automotive clearcoat. The backglass is very nice, just 1 very small scratch right of the player 2 display window. The lower cabinet has a few dings, the backbox has a small area of damage in the lower left front (see pic), i forgot to take pics of the backbox sides, they look like the lower cabinet, i can send pics if needed. The red paint has turned to pink like almost all fg machines. The circuit boards are in good shape, i can send pics of these too if needed. The squawk & talk has new caps installed. The playfield has new rubber, new targets & new pop skirts.

The plastics are in good shape. The flippers work well, but would be a little stronger if rebuilt. Here’s a link to a youtube video of this machine.

The lock on the front acess door needs to be picked in order to put the ball back on track, we lost the key and it fell off when we moved the unit.. The lights light up, the flippers flip, the man talks, and the bells ring.. The machine must be picked up by june 14th as that is the day we will be gone….

1981 flash gordon pinball machine. Playfield has a mylar overlay and there is zero playfield wear. This machine has working coin mechanisms with the susan b. Anthony dollar slot in addition to two quarter slots, coin box key and original coin / cash box inside. Bally sticker on front of coin mechanism is in perfect condition. Also have key to the back cabinet / head. The keys, of course, are on a flash gordon keychain. It has excellent back glass and working strobe light. The outer cabinet is in decent shape with some of the scratches and wear you would expect on an arcade machine from 1981. The machine plays well and has all drop targets.
