It has a really loud speaker and as you play you can hear the heartbeat of gorgar. It lights up and is really a great looking machine. It’s all original with the stenciling on the side and the only change is the credit switch or button on the front for playing it for free. The machine has some flaking of the back panel in areas but it’s really not that bad. It has some wear to the play field and for some reason there is an area that won’t light up on the play field.

All areas were working as they should but then i took it out of a basement and reattached all the wires and now the bumper area in the center won’t light up. I think i just have a loose wire. The machine also only has one ball, and it locks a ball in certain instances, so it needs a few more balls.

Really tempted to keep this one! Includes lots of paperwork including the instructions and price sheets that slip into the coin area. Keys are included as well has tons of extra bulbs and such.

Gorgar pinball 1979 first talking pinball machine. Gogar was manufactured by williams starting in december of 1979. Gorgar was the first talking pinball machine with the awesome vocabulary of seven words. The machine is in very good shape.

The play field is in very good shape and the back glass is in very good shape. The back glass will not light up.

It comes on some times but right now it is not lighting up. The legs show rust and there are some scatches on the sides. The games play very well and fast. It is in the top 100 pinballs of all time.

A great add if your a pinball collector for a low price. If your in the pittsburgh area feel free to come play and look at it. North american van lines is your best bet. The pinball machine is as is. Thanks for looking, and if intrested i allso have a 1979.

This is a 1979 williams gorgar pinball machine (very collectable) it is the first talking pinball machine and was ahead of its time when released in 1979, as you can see the game is in pretty good shape and plays and all targets and bumpers work and score and the sound works, but does have some issues, it needs some tlc , mainly the displays are not all working but i believe it is the main display board that is the problem ? Or could be a bad conection?? As all the one through four player displays seem to work when tested ? The coin mechs have been removed and replaced with a push button so you don’t have to use coins. This is a fun game to play but i don’t have the room for it and need the cash!

The cabinet is in decent condition for its age having the usual scratches with the exception of having some water damage on the bottom from setting in an old building. The playfield looks to be in good shape except for the rubbers being missing or dryrotted due from setting for a long time. There is at least one solenoid that is stuck you can hear it engage when you plug it in. The paint on the cabinet is decent but the paint on the back glass is peeling badly and will need repainted. Most of the lights seem to light up but the scoreboard does not. Some of the wiring is damaged and it will blow at least one of the fuses. As far as i can tell the only big part that is missing is the board in the upper right hand corner of the back i dont know what it goes to possibly the sound board. At one point i did get the flippers to work but they are not working right now possibly because of the stuck solenoid or a fuse. The machine turned out to be more of a project than i have time for and it will need totally restored. As far as i can tell electronic parts are not hard to fond and are fairly inexpensive as i have bought parts for my other machines. Either way it is in my way and i dont have the time to repair it or the need for it as i have two working machines. Thanks for looking and feel free to ask any questions i will do my best to answer them. I tried to show any damage but it looks better in pictures than it does in real life thanks for looking.

Most gorgar machines have their playfields worn down to bare wood. There are two small spots worn by the slingshot, but for the most part this one shines like new!

This machine was recently gone over electronically, the backglass is great, speech works perfect, ‘pit’ magnet works perfect, the game has been re-bulbed, re-rubbered, stripped down to the bare playfield, waxed, all pieces novus’ed, metal shined with chrome polish by hand and reassembled. I’m the one who did the work on it. Please ask for the hi-res versions, this machine has the best gorgar cabinet i have ever seen.

It’s in a little better than average condition. Everything works and everything plays fine. It has some wear in spots and a few marks or scuffs on the cabinet and playfield. The backglass is pretty nice with very minor wear or flaking. We replaced all the bad rubber bands and bad bulbs.

We also waxed the playfield. This pin was designed for players of all ages. It was one of the first “talking” pins by williams in their heyday.

We take pride in our pinball sales. We prefer to sell them as “nice to very nice” condition for the person who enjoys playing their favorite pin at home. We do not represent them as being in collector or near collector condition unless specified as such. This item has been tested and is in great playing condition! Locks and keys are included!

Its approximate dimensions are: 29w x 54d x 72h. Folks, if you’d like to pick your game up, we have a loading dock and will give you a hand loading it! It usually runs around $350. This item will leave our shop in the condition in which it has been described.

Hey yall, i need to mention i understated the backglass condition. It is about average and does have a little more chipping or flaking that i originally described.

The backglass is a new repro from mayfair amusements, it’s perfect. The playfield was touched up in only a few places, then clear coated with 3 coats of automotive clear, it looks & plays sweet! The cabinet has been re-painted with stencils.

The game is 100% functional, just like when it was new. All of the rubber has been replaced. The playfield plastics are a 9 out of 10. All bulbs were replaced about 3 months ago, all are working. All circuit boards are in nice shape with some upgrades, the 40 pin connectors on the mcu & driver boards were replaced.

New caps on the sound board, sound is perfect. All displays are nice & bright. A new pinball has been installed. The game comes from a smoke free home.

Feel free to ask questions. I will wrap it good. A friend of mine will deliver the machine within 175 miles of louisville, ky for $150, that’s cheap.
