Here’s 1 of approximately 600 lucky hand pinball machines made by gottlieb in 1977. Many consider lucky hand to be one of the most collectible pinball machines made by this or any company.

Don’t worry though, the machine comes with the keys so you can play as many games as you want with a little repair. This particular machine is in very good condition. It does have some nicks and scratches from being 30 years old.

Or so, but it’s in better condition than most lucky hands you’re likely to find. There is a scrtach on the right hands side if your at playing end of machine. It’s in original condition, the backglasses is great and looks loke new.

The game lights up perfectly and has all the proper drop targets and plastics. The game was working great but after moving it around several times it seems like the tilt rleay is froze. Game lights up but when ball goes out it will not let you flip the flippers and no points will score. The playfield is in great condition.. If you are local, you can make an appointment with me to see and play in person. I do not have the means to pack or wrap the machine so please keep this in mind. Only small repair to have a very collectable machine.

Gottlieb king pin pinball machine. This was built in 1973 and is of the electromechanical type. It was never in a commercial establishment.

Coin mechs should work but i haven’t used them as the machine is set for free play. Also included are the original manual, schematics, free play cards, new set of rubbers, new set of drop targets, extra light bulbs, and a few other items.

1975 gottleib “top score” pinball. Top score is a one or two player bowling-themed pinball machine which features an. The machine itself is in good condition with the normal wear-and-tear for a machine of it’s age. Good condition, some scratches on the sides. Playfield is in very good condition, very little wear.

The backglass is in fair condition, major peeling, some dis-coloration and paint cracking can be seen such as on the woman’s dress as you’ll see in the following pictures. All of the solenoids works including the flippers.

All the lights work, however some bulbs. Periodically may not light due to loose or dirty light sockets which become that way after many years of use. All the lights have been checked and or replaced. The pinball machine is currently set-up for free play. By pressing the red button located in the center of the coin door, a game will start.

Over-all “top score” is a very fun pinball machine to play. Both kids and adults will be amused and challanged by it’s gameplay. Is an antique and collectors item sought by avid pinball machine collectors till this day. Please provide your town, state and zip code for a quote.

They are built like tanks. This is the last game they made before going out of business. This game is fairly rare with only 1000 of them being made.

This specific one is in awesome shape, with no wear on the playfield. When we got the game it only had 1400 plays on it. There is no way to prove it only had 1400 plays, but we think the condition shows it. Just look at how clean the inside of the cabinet is. The game was totally stripped of parts, and i don’t just mean the ramps. Everything was taken off the topside and cleaned. All new incandescent light bulbs were installed to ensure reliability, not just the burned out ones. Everything was polished and cleaned, with all new white rubber. The ball troughs and ramps were also removed from the underside of the playfield to be cleaned. Some people skip this step and it doesn’t take the game long to get dirty again. Also all of the inserts have had brand new led’s installed, it really makes the inserts pop.

If you haven’t seen led’s before in a game, they really make a big difference, and they really stick out at you. All your friends will go nuts when they see you have a pinball machine in your house. The game plays perfect and looks awesome. You will not be disappointed in this game. I don’t think you will find a nicer barb wire game.

Put away those video games and play pinball! Overall, the machine is in 100% working order and is in great condition. It is exceptionally clean and is ready to play. Imagine how the soft glow of this machine with it’s totally fun-packed playing and theme would enhance your gaming area! Nothing beats playing a game that has a “real” feel like pinball. This is a four-player machine which is an absolute blast to play and has a family-oriented theme. Playing highlights and other information concerning this machine, please visit. Included with this machine are the original schematics, installation/game operation instructions, a new pinball and keys. This machine has been thoroughly cleaned, playfield polished, all plastics shined/cleaned using novus, rubbers replaced, all necessary contacts adjusted, all new lights installed, score reels adjusted, minor cabinet touch-up and has new, shiny legs! A small, red button for “free play” was installed by a prior owner to the left of the coin door (see photo). This machine has been proudly in my collection for about 4 years and has been cared for.

There is minor backglass flaking in the “game over” area (see photo), but this is the only area affected. I’ve installed a “flashing” bulb to reduce unnecessary heat build-up in this area. The top and bottom corners of the right bumper playfield plastic are broken (see photo). The cabinet does contain some minor gouges, scratches and scuffing but is in overall very good condition.

The “spinner” in the middle of the playfield is not the original spinner (see photo).

Machine has been shopped with complete cleaning with novus 2, playfield waxed, all bulbs changed and new rubbers. New replacement backglass from shay, new pop bumper tops, new flippers, new coin door & trim, new legs. This is a very fun game with lots of action. Again this is a fun game that has been fully serviced.

Overall the machine is in 100% working order. This is one of the nicest surf champs ive come across. The machine was totaly torn down and built back up, heres what we did. All playfield parts were taken off, and cleaned.
5 coats of novas wax were applied (thanks brian). Every playfield plastic was washed, and sprayed with novas 3#, for shine, and protection. Both bumper coils were replaced. All new rubbers wer installed. All new playfield lights were installed. Cabinet was cleaned, and wiped down. All playfield contacts were adjusted, as needed. New plunger spring was installed. Scoring reels were cleaned, and adjusted (thanks brian). Drop targets were lubed, and cleaned. The game plays fast, and the playfield shines. The backglass has no flaking, and is in great condition. The playfield has one small wear spot, as seen in the pictures. The 2 slingshot plastics have cracks/ chips in the , but does not effect gameplay. The rest of the plastics are very clear, and no chips.

I would rate the back glass as a 5 on a scale from 1-10. The bumpers need to be replaced. Please be patient with me. It must be picked up within 10 days from the end of sale unless other arrangements were made.

1976 gottlieb surf champ 4-player pinball machine. Surf champ, and its two-player cousin, surfer, are probably my most favorite multi-player pinball machines ever!
The playfield has just about every different feature that was available in the em era and the graphics are just outstanding everywhere! If you are a surfer, a beach bunny, or just wish you were, this machine will make you feel like you are! It will even make you feel warm during the cold winter nights! And maybe more important than the nice theme and graphics. This machine is f-u-n to play. With many varied targets and skill shots to aim for to try and maximize your score. If you are looking for a nice looking machine that is fun to play for up to. This machine is mechanically unshopped and will need to be gone through cleaning and adjusting contacts prior to being able to play a game.

It does power up and springs into action when you press the credit button when credits are shown, but that is about as far as it is getting on its own right now. You can get some of the functions to work after manually pressing a few contact relays in the bottom cabinet and backbox, but nothing is consistently working correctly. It does appear to be mechanically complete and untampered with, so this one should just need the normal “shopping out” by cleaning metal contact points to get everything back in working condition. Yes, another machine that has been sitting idle for some time, so please pay some attention to it!

All it should need is some of your time and patience, both of which i lack most times! The overall nice cosmetics and fun play make this a great candidate for you to spend some time on! In the end, it will be time well spent. The original backglass is in pretty nice shape. It does have a little bit of chipping paint in the letters of the name but even that isn’t very bad.

This is a nice looking backglass, but it is short of perfect. No disappointments here, though, i don’t think, it looks that nice. The playfield paint is also in very nice shape with only one 1/4″ by 1/2″ wear spot below the top, right kickout hole. Otherwise, there is a little bit of chipped paint immediately next to a couple of the plastic inserts, along with a few other very small nicks/chips in the paint in spots, but nothing to be concerned with.

Overall, it looks very nice! All of the colors are bright with no sign of any fading and the surfing graphics are outstanding. No chance for any disappointment in this playfield, it looks that nice. The two slingshot plastics and the piece over the drop targets have broken/missing corners, but still present themselves decently. All other plastics are in excellent shape with no cracks/breaks. All have nice, bright colors and graphics. This plastic set has been reproduced so you can have new perfect ones if you want! But in the meantime, these will definitely suffice. The two round pop bumper caps are in excellent shape with great and bright graphics on top. All five original drop targets are in place. The drop target faces show a little bit of wear in their graphics, but compared to most that i have seen, look very nice. I believe that new targets are available, too, if you want these to be perfect.

The bottom metal playfield apron is in fair shape with some fading to the colors and some scratches in the painted graphics. I believe that new decals are available for the tops of these aprons. There are original instruction and score cards in place on the apron.

Playfield features include four rollover lanes at the top, a rollover lane along the left side in an alley that leads back to the top, two round pop bumpers, five drop targets, a spinner in the center, a kickout hole, a single rollover lane along each of the middle sides, five rollover star buttons, two more sets of two rollover lanes along each of the bottom sides, and various other rubber contact points that award scoring. See what i mean about. Of varied targets to aim for! This is a fun playfield layout! This will definitely test your skill shots in trying to maximize your score because most target combinations account for different scenarios of points.

Hitting each of the rollover star buttons lights another insert at the kickout hole to increase its value when hit. After you cancel all five, the side rollover lanes light to award specials. Your bonus points are awarded after each ball and you can double and even triple your bonus points if you hit the right combinations on the playfield. The machine can also be set (by means of a plug in the backbox) to award extra balls (same player shoots again) for winning specials, or replays, the choice is yours.

You can also win specials/replays by achieving certain scoring levels or by matching your last. Digits with a random number that lights on the top of the backglass at the end of the game. The cabinet paint appears to be original. It is starting to show its age along all sides with some noticeable scratches, nicks, and wear in the paint, along with some discoloration of the background color. That all being said, it still presents itself well and shouldn’t embarrass you, but it isn’t perfect, either. All of the colors and graphics are nice. Since the original design and colors are in place, you could certainly repaint it back to the factory specs and it will look like new in the end. In the meantime, it looks fine!

The credit wheel is currently pretty dirty/sticky so it seems to always reset to zero when you have credits showing, but with some cleaning/lubricating to the gears, it will work properly. The original metal backbox door is missing. Replacements can be found, or you could easily make a new one from plain plywood to serve the same purpose. The four original chrome legs are in fair shape with some noticeable surface rust. It looks like the majority of rust should buff out but you will most likely be left with some that won’t come out.

To add to your gameroom, that has pretty nice overall cosmetics, here is your chance. If you have a surfing or beach theme, you can’t do much better than surf champ. The beach related graphics are everywhere on the backglass, playfield, plastics, and cabinet sides. You are going to need to spend some time cleaning and adjusting the mechanics prior to being able to play a game, but everything is in place to allow you to bring this fun machine back to life.

Once you’re finished, it will get endless play, i can assure you that. You can take this machine as far as you want in a restoration, the choice is yours. The great news is that in the end, not only will you have a nice looking machine, but you will also want to play it, too! That invites competition among friends or family members, surf champ gets my vote!
