Has not been restored. Everything works except the eight ball special target, it lights but does not give a replay when hit. Could use new rubbers, flippers, wax play surface, new balls. Some flaking of paint from back glass. Scratched and some graffiti on one side of cabinet. All the drop down balls are present and work. Light rust on chrome pieces. This is one of the most collectible wedge-head machines. First machine to have a ball return. You know what these rare machines go for when fully restored. 1965 Gottlieb Bank-a-Ball pinball. Description: Bank-A-Ball, 9/65, 3400 produced, animated pool balls in backbox, first game with return lanes to the flippers, wedge-head pinball. The object of Gottlieb Bank a Ball is to hit (or rollover) all the numbered targets on the play-field. Each of the 15 targets has a corresponding plastic ball in the back-box. As a target is hit, the ball “falls” in the back-box. If all the solids or stripped balls (targets) are hit, the left or right rollovers lights for a Replay. If all 15 targets are hit, the center 8-ball target lights for replay. IN-HOME SERVICE and FREE LIFETIME TECH SUPPORT. If you have a problem with this game, we can come out to your home and repair it. This is our business, not just a hobby like most sellers! We are so confident in our restorations that we back them up, unlike other fly-by-night sellers that like to put the words “AS-IS” on all of their auctions. The reason we can back up the games we sell is because we actually do the work that’s needed to make the game perform reliably for years to come. It requires a LOT of work and experience to make a 10, 20 or 30+ year old pinball machine reliable. An unrestored game usually results in EXPENSIVE repairs! Don’t fall for sellers that only show you a picture of the game sales FLYER and not a picture of the ACTUAL GAME they will send you! Pinball machines can NEVER be compared simply on price and as always… YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! Due to my in-your-home restoration services, I have a proven track record of service and support in the Eastern Pennsylvania, Central/South Jersey and Northern Delaware areas. Another 70’s Gottlieb drop-target classic… This game was produced in 1975 by Gottlieb, creator of the most popular mechanical pinball machines on the planet! Atlantis is considered to be one of the most desirable and collectable single-player “wedgehead” style machines ever created. Atlantis is also one of the last few mechanical pinball machines built by Gottlieb. Around 1976, Gottlieb and all other pinball manufacturers started switching over to digital technology, forever changing the sights, sounds and gameplay of pinball machines as we knew them. This game was incredibly popular when new due to the classic Gottlieb drop-target style gameplay along with the ever-popular nautical theme. This game was created when Gottlieb was the king of the arcades, bowling alleys and corner stores. No one could hold a candle to a Gottlieb mechanical pinball machine… They were simply the king of the hill! Atlantis was one of Gottlieb’s greatest single player machines of all time and is generally close to the top of any mechanical pinball machine collectors favorite game lists. Anyone that played pinball machines in the 70’s has usually seen and played Atlantis. It’s a timeless classic and one of our most requested games. You’ll love the old-fashioned chime box sounds that take you back to a simpler time in all of our lives. A time when pinball was the king of the arcade and boardwalk. A time before those confounded electronic video games came about! This game has many of the classic features that made Gottlieb great. Everyone’s favorite feature on this game is the huge bank of drop targets at the left side of the field. The targets are not only used to score 500 points, but when two adjacent targets are dropped with a single hit, you get a big score of 5,000 points! Drop all of the targets to go for bigger points and SPECIALS! There is also a set of two roll-down lanes at the right side of the field. Complete the rollover sequence for more points and a top score! All of the classic elements such as pop-bumpers, slingshots, rollovers, stationary targets and drop-targets give this playfield a classic playing and vintage feel that will keep you entertained and challenged for hours at a time. Most pinball enthusiasts agree that Gottlieb made the best playing single-level playfield designs and this game is one of the very best. The classic and family-friendly theme goes great in any home gameroom! It becomes more and more difficult to find nice examples of 70’s arcade games as time marches onward, particularly the more popular titles. This is one beautiful example of vintage arcade coolness for your very own! The playfield on this game is in fabulous original condition with no touch-ups and the original factory clear coat is intact with a mirror shine. A brand new set of playfield plastics has been installed and it has a beautiful set of original drop-targets! The screen-painted backglass is a fantastic condition original with very few imperfections and is not a reproduction piece. The original stenciled paint on the cabinet looks excellent with minor blemishes and some touch-ups. The legs have been refinished and brand new playfield glass has been installed. See below for the full list of what has been done to this game. This game plays beautifully, just like it did in 1975! This game has been professionally serviced for long-lasting reliability and enjoyment. I have many years of experience in pinball repair and restoration as a business, not just a hobby.
