Gottlieb 1973 high hand pinball machine. This is a good game for those who like a card/poker theme. Very good condition pinball overall, small amount of flaking on the man in the backglass, playfield has a coupe of marks as seen in the picture, plastics very good condition, cabinet in very good condition and the pinball works fine. The rubbers and balls and some of the light bulbs have been replaced.

Just a nice gottlieb wedgehead pinball. You are welcome to come and play and inspect the pinball. The pinball is located in swansea, illinois, 15 miles east of st.

Any questions, please call randy at 618-235-0179.

Gottlieb wedgehead pinball machine titled High Hand

This is an em machine. I believe this is from 1973 but i’m not sure. It’s a one player game. I recently took this game in trade from a friend so i really don’t know much about it.

It seems to me to play with a few small issues like flickering lights and whatnot. This game has four sets of targets and the idea is to knock down all the target to score the big points. In my opinion it is actually a pretty fun game. I played this game a little more this weekend and there were a few issues with it i need to disclose.

The right hand flipper got stuck in the up position occasionally. If the button was pressed again it would release and come down.
The rebounder at the top of the playfield where the ball hits after it has been shot out needs replaced. Sometimes the ball gets stuck there. Also, the game will put up a sixth ball after the game is over.

You can shoot it but nothing scores. It just puts it out there. That’s why i ended the last listing and relisted. The game has some paperwork for it as well as keys to the coin door and back door. I’d be happy to deliver this game and help set it up free of charge as long as you live within fifty miles of area code 43945. Pretty much the canton/akron, new philadelphia, steubenville/weirton, youngstown and pittsburgh areas. I’d go up to 250 miles for an additional fifty cents a mile.

This is one of the many exhibit items we have on display in our muesem here at gretna career college in new orleans… We are auctioning off some items to make room for new historical displays that we change or start new ones which is about twice a year. When we get and item in such as this and for most we have the ability in house to clean and partially recondition… Either replace broken are missing parts and/or have them made in a local machine shop… Having a body and paint class also helps coupled with the ability to sand or glass bead blast rusty parts. Please view the pictures closely to make your judgement as to the condition of the you can tell from the pictures the outside as well as the inside are clean… And it is and older movie judging by the style of cloths which is probably around 1910… The movie is one of the typical themes of the day. A young man trying to get a kiss from the young lady he admires after he brings her home and hopefully her father will not come downstairs and catch them in the act…. But of course no such turning one small rod upside down on the main cranking gear shaft.. The machine works by turning the brass handle clockwise without inserting the coin we have it set up….

Now remember our goal for each item in the muesem is to display nicely and that the student after reading the info card instructions on each item can operate it….. The only flaw which really does not show is a hole about the size of a quarter in the bottom of the machine towards the rear… We made the small red dolly with wheels that the original stand is bolted makes it easy for us to move the machine around… We are also offering another machine of the same type but without the stand… But the unique thing about the other machine is it comes with the tall marque which is rare and hard to find.

Both of our machines are the international mutoscope machines which are machines made after 1925 and smaller versions of the original company that was just mutoscope…. Which made the hard to find cast metal clamshell version… Of which we have one…. If we are wrong we will cover the extra cost….
