Here is a vintage big indian pinball machine!!!!! I bought this, brought it home and the woman said no way.

I always wanted a pinball machine but i guess not right now. There is a copyright of 1973 on it but everything i found said they are from 1974. As you can see in the pictures the paint on the back glass is pealing in spots.

All new rubber was recently put on all the bumpers and paddles. It plays though all 4 players.

The legs have some rust at the bottoms of them and one adjustment foot is missing off one of the legs. (could have them cleaned and re-chromed). The body of the machine is in pretty good shape for how old it is. There is some pint chips, dings, scratches and the like but nothing that could not be touched up i think.

This machine is defiantly one that could be restored by someone who has the time. It come with the “installation procedures and game operation instructions” and the wiring diagram. You may pick it up personally if that is convenient for you. If i have to help it’s a $50 minimum. If you can’t pick it up see below. If where the machine would be delivered does not meet both of these criteria or you are not in the lower 48 please send me a message or call me.

1 varitaget for up to 5,000 points and 5 bonuses light up b i g for drop target specials thrilling countdown bonus up to 15,000 double bonus on last ball in play. Very nice unrestored, fully functional condition with a good backglass, sharp playfield and cabinet with few cosmetic issues, a good original 37 year old pinball machine.

Description: gottlieb big indian pinball. Pinball, just different number of players (4 players versus 2 players).

Has a bank of 5 drop targets, two pop bumpers, one varitarget, two slingshot, two 3 flippers. If the a-b-c rollover lanes are completed, the drop target special light goes on (last target down will score a free game). Also if the drop target bank is completed, again the special light goes on (last target down will score a free game). The varitarget, if hit all the way in, will score 5000 points and advance the bonus five positions.

Double bonus lights on the last ball. I copied the “big indian” features from the internet and didn’t notice that it said “new drop targets” and “rebuilt pop bumpers”. The drop targets and pop bumpers on this machine are not new or rebuilt. They are all working and in good condition.

You are looking at a highly collectible 1974 gottlieb big indian pinball machine. This machine is currently not working, however i have played around with the solenoids enough to know that the play field works but it doesn’t score. I was going to fix the machine but just dont have the time, however the play field has been completely torn down and cleaned, waxed, and rubbered. The cabinet is a little rough as you can see but i really that its rough because it gives it character being a “western themed” machine. The backglass does have some flaking as seen in the pictures but is in overall good condition. Now the play field is really in great condition. You can see in the pictures that there is no wear around the pop bumpers or around the or really anywhere else around the playfield with the exception of some of the inserts and by the “double score” (see pics).

Other than that, you have a beautiful play field. The machine does have a pair of legs and leg bolts that comes with the machine, i just forgot to take pictures of them. Approximately 25 minutes southeast of downtown cleveland.
