This is a classic wedge-head pin with backglass animation! A very sought after collectable pinball from the 60’s! This is one of his nicer pins he’s letting us put up for sale. This game has been in his collection for about 10 years. The game is fully shopped with all new bulbs, rubbers and mirrior play balls.
The backglass is in excellent condition with no fade and just a couple rub marks and a small amount paint cracking in the yellow , the playfield is in nice condition it does have some paint loss on the right side but the paint is solid with no loose paint, no broken or chipped plastics and a good set of pop bumper caps one has a burn mark. The cabinet is in excellent condition with just a a few scuffs and scrapes and with nice bright colors and no paint fade.

It still has the original drop targets! It does power up and play with exceptions. Gameplay: the game seems to function.

Sometimes you have to turn on/off a couple times for it to power up. The 4th player display is dim.

A few bulbs are out. The animation motor in the back is disconnected. The sounds and speech function. Lower playfield works ball pops up to upper level fine.

Remember: even thought the game functions long term relaibility is insured by doing the upgrades(grounds, connectors etc)more info is available online. Electronics: boards are very clean. No acid damage evident on cpu board. Power supply has discoloration near some diodes/resistors etc. Motor is bad for animation.

We are clearing out over 500+ arcade/pinball parts. I will do the best to test boards but due to differences/configurations i cant test all. I will sell as either: tested/working, untested or non working.

The backglass does have cracking in the paint which should be visible in pictures. Check out the pics as they tell the tale. The shop job on it appears to have been done less than a year ago, it’s got a few plays on it but not many. She just had the following installed recently (prob less than a year ago) all new white soft-flex rubbers / new expensive mirror glazed premium pinball® installed and 10 coats of wax (for super fast ball play) everything inside was checked out and working perfect! The flippers were checked out and adjusted so they fire like cannons and perfectly symetrical every time. The slingshots and pop bumpers have been set “super sensitive” - i love them set this way, if the ball just glances them they fire it off in a diffrent direction, makes gameplay soooo much better than having to have the ball hit hard and right on. Sorry i attached sooooo many pictures over 20+ pictures! But they show it all and i want you to see for yourself. Anybody can say anything about a pinball machine but sooo few have pictures to back it up. The coin door has double coin slots for currency. There are reasons why some folks take thier pictures in the dark and it’s not because they can’t find a clamp on light. This will be most helpful if you ever have to track down what went where if you take something apart. Pic sizes run around 2 to 3 meg before compression just for one pic so they have to go on cd. As far as we know no one offers this along with the pins they sell. You can get in depth details of this pinball and just about any other at (which stands for internet pinball database).

If you are looking for an em type pin in a collection, you can’t go wrong with this one - not an easy game but skillful nudging makes a big difference in play. I think this pin should be viewed as a solid state version of an traditional em pin layout but with extra “goodies”. It combines the advantages of both very well, giving a slightly deeper rule and demands that you master the art of nudging to get the best of it - i like that - a pin you can get better on by improving your play. I reach for it quite often - even with modern pins like st:tng and tz in the lineup.

- trying to get the ball to bounce off the three bumpers to land in the “globe” . What a way to close out the 70’s! Yes, this high production run by gregs kmiec and freres has to be among the very best of this era. Nothing new and/or different about the playfield features but, combined, they make a really fun to play game.
The saucer feature was really neat and since you have to play for the top of the field to get in it, this made it even more fun. This is a must to play a few, at least, when you see it. Best pin game there is! The artwork is great, with nice colors and very true to the theme. Sounds are the best from this era and game play is absolutely fantastic! I usually don’t care for these games with double flippers on one side but i have to admit, this one was an exception. As most of you know, having the ball drain between these flippers is not exactly a “user friendly” experience. But i was armed with this knowledge going in, so knew how to defend against it.
Even so, i still got stung a couple of times until i got the feel of it again. But this machine is a lot of fun to play and has a really good strategy to it too. And for all of you “special lovers” out there like me, this machine won’t let you down. It must have been a popular machine in it’s time because there were two of them where i was playing this game and they both were really worn around the area between the flippers. I would have to imagine collectors who own this game without this common playfield wear, could consider themselves very lucky.

This game never seems to get old. It is alwasy a challenge and a joy to play. I have been playing this game for twenty years and still like it.
