Call with any questions 440-823-4057. Up for your consideration is this extemely rare flair big ball bowler bowling machine. This bowler takes a 6″ ball with thumb holes unlike the normal big ball bowlers that use the 4-1/2″ ball with no holes. These machines are extremely hard to find in the original condition as most were converted to smaller balls. It is also very hard to find this bowler without a broken dome on the backglass. The dome on this one is not cracked or broken.

Cabinet has all original paint. Cabinet does show its age but still looks great. The overall length is 17′4. These bowlers still remain thee best coin operated arcade item for any game room. I don’t know what else to say about this machine other than it is a great piece of arcade history. I will not be held responsible for any problems that may occur once machines leaves my home. There will be no guarantees on the working condition of these machines as they are being described as not working.

1949 williams star series pitch and bat. This is a restoration project that when completed will make an unusual conversation piece for your game room and will also be very fun to play.

This games is also featured in the book arcade treasures, kurtz (isbn 088740619x); page: 36; color photo; price guide: 1994. This game was the 1st generation pitch and bat made by williams that featured the mechanical vertical running man unit in the backbox. After the player manually plunged a ball up the center of the playfield chute to the batter and then turned the knob to bat the ball he then tried to hit it in one of the marked holes. If he scored a single, for instance, the running man in the backbox would advance to 1st base. There was also a light by each base on the playfield to indicate the men on bases.

Also, since score reels weren’t invented yet, the scores were illuminated in lights for runs. It featured a 5c, 10c, and 25c slug proof single entry coin slot. The credit unit would record advance credits. The playfield is in good condition for it’s age and features retro artwork from that era. The backglass is a decent example that can be used - there is some paint loss that can be viewed in the pics i have taken.

They have made a nice repro playfield glass for their game with the instructions silkscreened onto the glass. There is also 2-12 rectangular white plastic shields that go on either side of the bat at the bottom - they are warped from age and new ones will have to be fashioned out of white lexan or a similar material.
I have tried to desribe the game to the best of my knowledge and would be more than happy to let anyone come and inspect the game in person. I can also take more pics if needed.

Playfield was just cleaned, all new rubber bumpers added, all burnt out bulbs replaced, and new pinball added. Backglass looks fantastic for its age but is not perfect. Cabinet looks good with normal scratches, scuffs, etc.

Don’t miss out on this rare find. Machine was just gone through and is working 100%. Playfield is in fantastic condition with very little wear visible. Playfield was just cleaned, all new rubber bumpers added, all burnt out bulbs replaced, and new pinballs added. Backglass looks fantastic for its age but is not perfect. Cabinet looks great with only a few minor scratches, scuffs. Machine comes with locks and keys ready to plug and play. I don’t know what else to say about this great pinball machine. This is a great machine to add to any gameroom and perfect for any collector, pinball player, or museum. If you have been looking for one of these machines then don’t pass this one by. This is a rare gottlieb close encounters of the third kind. Only 470 made before they went to solid state. Overall condition is very nice.

Screws and metal from playfield were polished in a tumbler. All rubbers were replaced and all bulbs throughout the game were replaced. Contacts were all cleaned as well as inserts from underneath. There are 2 plastics that had the ends cracked off. The right slingshot and the upper right plastic both on the ends. Both repaired and are solid.

The coin door has a couple small dings in it. Still looks and works good. I never try to hide anything on these games i sell and always emphasize the issues, but for its age this game is in nice shape ! Thats a long way from here.

 Just in time for the holidays!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Their rates are usually around $350 within 1500 miles of 44070 and around $420 everywhere else in the continental 48. Call with any questions 440-823-4057. This is an extremely rare, very fun, family friendly, collectible pinball machine. Machine was just gone through and is working 100%. Playfield looks very nice with very little wear visible. Very hard to find this or any machine from this era with a nice playfield like this one. Playfield was just cleaned, all new rubber bumpers added, all burnt out bulbs replaced, and new pinballs added.

Backglass looks very nice but does have some minor lifting at the bottom edge that someone taped down. Cabinet looks very nice with a few small scratches, etc. Machine comes with locks and keys ready to plug and play. I don’t know what else to say about this great pinball machine. This is a great machine to add to any gameroom and perfect for any collector, pinball player, or museum. If you have been looking for one of these machines then don’t pass this one by. You can’t go wrong with this great coin op item. I have bowlers, jukeboxes, video arcades, and other pinballs as well.

Playfield is in great condition. Plastics are nice and clear. Shopped out a couple of years ago and it plays beautifully.
This was a route machine early in it’s life, so the cabinet has some scrapes, bumps, and bruises. I would rate the cabinet as average condition.

The glass, plastics, playfield, and backglass is well above average with very little wear. This is a fun game to play with multiple flippers, pop bumpers, upkickers, kick out hole, spinning target, shaker motor that is pretty attention getting, and a diverted that creates a fault line between nevada and california. Truely a challenging and fun game that never gets boring. What makes this a rare machine is the “sinking earthquake institute”. This feature was only on the first couple hundred machines before they discontinued it due to cost. When i bought this game years ago, the dealer i bought it from indicated that with the low production number on this machine (271st off the line) confirmed the pedigree. I bought it for my rec room to enjoy and that was just a nice feature that added to the fun play.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this game for about the past 6 years. We are remodeling so it has to go. Game is fully operational and ready to go.
