Offered here is a rare hunter pinball machine by o. Jennings manufactured in september 1935. The hunter is the non-payout version of the jennings sportsman pinball machine. He pinball action was tested and it performed as it should. The machine works by having the customer put a nickel in the slot and push it in. Pushing a plunger down clears the balls from the field and loads them to be played. Pulling and releasing a second plunger launches the balls up to where they can land in any point value target. A tilt mechanism is visible as well; tilt too far and a ball falls off a pedestal and voids the play. He scoring mechanism for the machine has not tested - it works on a battery or power supply which i don’t have. Please note the nice graphics on the back glass, the play field looks very nice with minor wear. The machine does not come with a front or back door, but they can be made. There is a small chip (photo 7) cracked off the glass on the top right but this does not take away from the playing performance. There is also some green spray on a side of the machine which will need to be cleaned (see photo 8). Overall, a rare beautiful machine, it should be an easy restoration. The machine is located in rockland county, ny.The item “1935 Jennings Hunter Antique Pinball Machine Coin Op Nickel 5 cent” is in sale since Friday, January 16, 2015.
