For sale is a NON working Bally Nightrider pinball machine, SN ENR3420. I believe it was produced in 1978, and I believe it was the first electronic model. This one I believe is a relative uncommon model since it was the first electronic model. It has had an easy life - in a private residence since the early 1980’s. It worked at that time up until the late 1980’s, at which time the kids moved on and it quit being used. I tried it again about 3 years ago and it didn’t work. However, from reading and examing, I believe battery acid from one batteries drained onto the motor board. I did run it through the set up test (where you need 8 blinking lights for it to work). I replaced a few parts and got it to 6 blinks before I gave up. The exterior has a few srcapes, but seems to me to be in pretty good shape - like I said it has not had a rough arcade life; rather spent most of its life in a basement. The front glass part looks pretty good to me - see pictures. The rubber, etc is 37 years old, but it doesn’t look to bad for that age to me. It is shoved into the corner in the basement, so its alittle hard to take pictures of.
