Pinball Machines

The machine has spent the last 21 years in a non-smoking, private residence–specifically, my parents’ house. The pinball machine was played regularly in its first 10 years in my parents’ home but has barely been turned on in the last decade which essentially means that none of us knows whether there are problems with in-depth play nor does anyone remember the details of the game and machine enough to know if something isn’t working properly. So here’s my description from my inexpert inspection. The pinball machine seems to be functioning properly–lights, sounds, and displays seem to be working okay. The playing field shows wear and tear and there are at least two broken pieces of plastic–one piece is missing and the other is included (see pictures). The machine’s cabinet also shows signs of wear and tear including various scratches and chips. Also the metal legs are rusted (see pictures). The Operations Manual is included.
