1981 Gottlieb Black Hole Pinball Machine, in really nice condition, all ground mods done, boards have all been gone thru and work?? . Game plays fast and frantic! New rubbers, new balls, a few tasteful leds in the pop bumpers, the 4th player scoreboard is not working, but can be replaced with a new led board or an original board, I never have 4 players around so it hasn’t bothered me, original disc motor is still working great! Game is all original except for rubbers and wax, all plastics in very nice condition with minimal warping, sound is crisp and clear! Game has been modded for free play. Black Hole pinball machine by Gottlieb. Game is completely gone through by Orange County Pinballs, a full service pinball shop. Game goes through a rigorous refurbishment process and service checklist by professional pinball technicians to make sure it is 100% fully operational and looks great! All electronic boards are inspected, serviced, repaired and any burnt connectors replaced. Fuses are checked and correct fuse values installed (safety issue to prevent damage to the game or a fire). Cabinet vacuumed, outside of cabinet cleaned and inspected for any issues. Playfield is stripped down and all plastics, ramps and mechanisms are cleaned and the playfield is polished. If the game has plastic ramps they are flame polished to restore clarity and appearance. Flippers are rebuilt with new plungers, links and coil stops to ensure the strongest possible flippers. All rubber rings are replaced and all new lightbulbs installed. All switches are checked, adjusted or replaced. All coils and mechanisms are checked, adjusted or replaced. New sheet of tempered playfield glass. Locks with keys for full access inside the machine. Also the location must be tractor trailer accessible. The Black Hole is a pinball machine released in 1981 by Gottlieb. It is a collectors item. It is notable for having 2 playing fields One on the top with conventional slope and one mounted underneath sloping away from the player. The Black Hole was the first machine to feature a lower playing field viewed through a window in the upper playing field. It was taunted as the highest grossing pinball of all time. It is a challenging game that allows you to play up to 3 balls at the same time in the two playing fields. We have been using it in our home recreation room for many years. But, it has a working quarter coin accepter that would allow it to be used in a commercial setting. It also has sound and a voice which was not included in many of these. It is a very fun and challenging game. If you want something to test your skill, this is it. It is exciting when you are able to play all three balls at the same time. It is in great condition. We had it serviced last year. All the rubber, lights were replaced last year. Any week or defective parts that effect playing the machine were also tested and replaced as needed. Refurbished, fully shopped 1981 Gottlieb Black Hole. Cabinet is solid but has some scrapes & bruises. Has Pascal board in place of original, a brand new spinning motor, new leg levelers, new pop bumper boards, new upper plastic set. Backglass is in great shape, but there is some crackling in the Player 1 display window. Has all coin mechs, cashbox, keys and manual.
